Yes yes ! I've got no words to describe how much I enjoyed and loved the Red Cross Annual Camp! :) It was just AWESOMEE ! I love camps! For a very simple reason. Away from home, from homework stress and I could learn new things :D I've gained a lot of experience and learnt a lot from this camp. Although it feels short, the lessons gained were very useful and could be applied in daily lives . Relax, whatever I'm gonna write here would not put you to sleep :) So, just bare. I've learnt a lot of things. I would try my best to recall and put them ALL here. :D
1) From the bunk cleaning, I learnt that dividing jobs among your friends to complete a task is very important so that we could complete the task quickly and efficiently. So, teamwork is the most important.
2) Fire drill, I learnt the importance of having the sense of emergency. Still we shouldn't be too "kanchiong" and injure ourselves and the people around us.
3) Water games. I learnt to have patience , teamwork and to think out of the box to find other alternatives of how we could solve our problems.
4) Evacuation. Must have confidence in ourselves and pay attention. Haha. I think I did much better than the first time. I was more confident in what I was doing.
5) Evacuation game (SOSS) or something like that. I had to become one of the casualties with leg injuries. The Sir told me to cry but I just don't know how. :( So, Dawn was the one who evacuated me using human crutch. Yes, she was right :D
6) Combined campfire with NCDCC . Although there's no fire and we were in the library, there's still the "HEAT" that came from us. One by one, the groups performed. "Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum". hehe :0 Was really interesting and this chance is really rare ! :)
7) Went for re-test for evacuation stations that we failed. I failed the cradle carry so I re-took for that only. Radio Communication, I passed. So, I don't need to re-take. So, we listened to Evon Ma'am 's story of how she joined red cross and how she taught her cadets while waiting for others :) She's the first batch of EVG ! Wow, I respect her ! :) After 10 years, she still came to EVG to help her juniors. She's quite fierce but friendly too :D Her story was interesting, she encouraged us to work together and not choose to "quit" because that does not guarantee that we could find happiness and comfort in the other CCAs. Like what we heard people say , LIFE IS FULL OF UPS AND DOWNS . Challenges come, only the brave ones would face them and solve them, not run away from them. After that, we went for bath and slept quite late because we still had to attend debrief after that. I admit that almost everyone had difficulties sleeping that night.
8) Next day, I learnt why we have this term "One for all. All for one". At first when I joined red cross, I didn't accept that "rule". Now, I realised it's really fun when we go through a punishment together :) So, the first time the Sec 2s conducted reporting. It's okay, a new learner. I think they improved on the second day ;D !
9) PT. I didn't learn much from here ... I learnt to ENDURE.
10) Went to Woodlands Waterfront. Luckily we're going there during daytime. Don't go there at night, please :D Team-building skills needed here. Bonded with people from NCDCC . They were very friendly :) Patience was also another thing I learnt. Hmmm.."Over boudaries, beyond horizon". During the debrief, we were asked to explain what we learnt from this quote. I wanted to try to speak up. Like what you all know, I have difficulties speaking up in a crowd. I wanted to try but during that time I was really tired and I could not open my eyes because it was too sunny. From this quote, I learnt that although there are obstacles in life, it does not mean that there is a limit to the alternatives we can take and what we could achieve.
11) Evac Theory and RCK. I passed them both ! Yayh ! :) I failed my RCK last time. I was deeply disappointed that time. For this re-test, I really really memorised all the things in the notes and the tips Ma'am gave us :D Satisfaction is one of the things I felt here.
12) Footdrill. Hmm....Idk. But I guess our kebelakang pusing was getting slightly better. We need more practices. We're currently planning for extra practices for footdrill. Still under planning :)
13) Captain's ball. Played with the Ma'ams and Sirs. One thing about them , they react fast. Must learn this from them. Had a lot of fun :)
14) Night trail ! Wahh, this one really a lot for me to share. Get this right . WE ARE NOT SCARED BUT WE WERE SHOCKED. So, okay. Hmm..I admit I screamed a lot. Others too. But my reaction was different. I screamed and ran away. Haha ! I enjoyed the trail :) As a scary-cat like me, this is something that build up my confidence. I think the scariest station should be the spiral staircase and the boys' toilet. The spiral staircase, we "lose" the fun because another group met the "ghosts" just before us. So, went we arrived at that station, the "ghosts" were already out. So, no more surprise. The boys' toilet. I would say it's the most scariest one. We took a lot of time to take the object from the toilet door. The room beside the toilet was creeping, said Jia Yi but there was no one inside..So, we were feeling more scared. When Hidayah touched the object, the "ghost" ran out and chase us. Although we were prepared with our bottles to hit the ghost, we ended up screaming. Haiz..haha. Gonna miss the trail ! Teamwork, leadership, confidence are among the things I learnt from this trail.
14) The next day we had bunk cleaning. At first, I feel like vomiting when I started to clean the girl's toilet. After awhile, it gets better. :D
I know I listed 14 things. It does not mean that I only learn 14 things from the camp. You can see that some of them are categorised. So, yeahs..I enjoyed the camp a lot although it was tiring. I've recovered by now :D
It's the thought that counts .
Hello! My name is Siti Nurhayati and I'm 15 years old :) Just an ordinary person with big dreams. Nothing is impossible as long as you believe in yourself. Born on 28 January, there's a great history on this date too if you know history well enough. I know I'm not perfect. At least, I know it's the real me. I can be nice and I can be cruel. Be prepared to get shocked by the negative side of me. So, better be safe than sorry. Don't test my patience. FYI: I'm a short-tempered person. Don't try me :)

When boredom strikes, it kills
Hello ! Haiz..Life during this school holiday isn't any fun to me. I have got nothing to do although I admit that I have religious class examinations to prepare. I will start revising and 1 hour later, I will stop and do other stuffs. I just can't stick on studying. Attended math extra class just now. Quite fun. Although 1 Respect is gone, I can still see the shadows left behind. Nevermind, I'm gonna be in 2 Respect next year, joining 25 other Respectos. Oh..wait, have i told you? *check* . ouh..not yet. Yeah, so I am going to 2 RESPECT !!! 14 of them will be going to 2 Commitment. Congrats to them ! You guys are just way too smart ! Do work hard to achieve your goals . I hope our friendship does not end here. :) To the other 25 , congrats for being in 2 Express next year ! You will be joining with me in the fun ^^ hehe. Another year with awesome Respectos ! I heard that we will be having new classmates joining. Yeayh ! March in, come on ! hehe. You'll have a whale lot of fun here ^^ I can assure that. But but..As long as you don't disturb or hurt us . Kay? Hmm..Last friday, it was the beginning of school holidays. But still, I have to go to the Peranakan Museum (Red Cross). Was fun ! Learnt a lot of things..Not going to write any reflection here because I don't want anyone to copy my reflection for the "homework" given ;D So, yeah..I wrote quite long. Like what I said, as long as you give me the time and bring me to somewhere I can learn a lot from, I am able to write 10 pages of reflection. Maybe I should try doing that after my red cross annual camp . Haha ! Btw, another math class tomorrow. Start at 8 : 30 , ends around 10 : 30. Fine :D As long it's benefiting me :D Then it's THURSDAY? Omg ! My group had not prepared anything yet for the camp ! Better alert Chelsea a.s.a.p. I don't have her phone number ! Haiz...I've came up with some ideas (skit). I wonder whether it's workable or not. Nehmind..Hmm..Btw, my red cross camp will be from 6 - 8 November. Expect me to turn off my phone, my facebook and everything. It's okay. I think I'm going to have fun ! So, yeah , gonna miss one lesson of religious class....That's all for today. Happy Holiday EVERYONE !!!
